The baseline survey, carried out in July 2024, revealed a range of cropland, modified grasslands, small areas of ruderal and ephemeral habitat, and scrub within native hedgerows with trees.

Enhancement work has started initially with the planting of a native woodland consisting mainly of willow, birch and alder. Grassland and scrub enhancement is to follow.
