Enhancement 2026

Two groups of traditionally managed grasssland within the North Pennine Moors Important Bird Areas, Network Enhancement Zone 1 and under a B-Line, enhanced with a bespoke grassland seed mix sites in Autumn 2023.

The southern group is adjacent to the Ingleborough SSSI and Grass moorland Priority habitat. The northern group is very close to the Whernside SSSI and adjacent Grass moorland, Fragmented heath, Blanket bog and Upland heathland Priority habitat.
